Job Summary

As a Project Staging Technician, you'll take the lead with independence and precision, orchestrating the seamless staging of devices to meet the needs of our valued stakeholders. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our cutting-edge technology products and services are ready for deployment, aligning with both current and future demands.

Job Description

Your expertise will drive the daily preparation and timely dispatch of device orders from our Kemps Creek, NSW warehouse. This is a permanent position where your dedication will directly impact the efficiency and success of our operations.

You will actively participate in a diverse team environment to deliver the optimum customer and commercial outcomes aligned to the corporate strategy.

Key Skills & Accountabilities

  • Working on and simplex commissioning ICT equipment to customers specifications which could include routers, switches, wireless technology, video conferencing, mobile devices both android and Apple.
  • Managing workload within the customers services management tool to meet SLA’s 
  • Working individually or with other teams to resolve incidents within SLA’s
  • Working individually or with other teams to deliver service requests that meet the customers’ requirements within SLA’s
  • Updating documentation during changes to maintain accuracy of the ICT environment
  • Maintain and report the security of the ICT environment
  • Ensure our stakeholder engagements are actioned within reasonable time constraints
  • Ensuring customer equipment is accurately recorded, monitored, securely stored, and recorded in the inventory management software 
  • Compliance to the prescribed quality standards, practices and procedures.
  • Contribute to personal and public image, by compliance with all relevant policies, practices and regulations in an effective and responsible manner.
  • Establish peer relationships.
  • Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to improve production and reduce wasted or ineffective truck rolls.
  • Maintain adequate operational tools, materials, equipment and products to maximise efficiency.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety and Wellbeing standards, our Code of Conduct, our Telstra Values and Corporate policies.
  • Ensure complete, accurate and timely entry of timesheets, job transaction records and site survey requirements. Ensure correct booking codes are used to capture any on or off region bookings.
  • Undertake recalls.
  • Possess skills regarding the utilisation of test equipment, tools and instruments, aligned to the products and services listed below.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearances is advantageous
