Keystone Autism Services is seeking a full time Job Developer to join our team in making a positive difference in the lives of the individuals we support. This position includes providing face-to-face support in employment and community settings for individuals living in Dauphin County. It also involves working from home remotely and carrying out responsibilities at our Harrisburg office.

The Job Developer delivers personalized employment services such as assessing work interests, skills, and needs, preparing for and locating jobs, providing direct workplace support, and offering continual assistance to sustain employment. This position requires collaboration with team members to help participants and their families plan for employment, aim for a fully inclusive everyday life, and accomplish their employment objectives.

Minimum Education Requirements (One of the following)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation, Business, Marketing, Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Associate’s degree and one year of work experience related to job assessment, job finding, or employment supports
  • High school diploma or equivalent and two years of work experience related to job assessment, job finding, or employment supports
  •  ODP service positions only: High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to obtain Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) certification or equivalent within 6 months of employment
  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written 
  • Intermediate computer skills, ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook and learn web based systems
  • Valid driver’s license and daily access to a properly insured vehicle
  • Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks
