• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and services that power our platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features, ensuring the best possible developer experience for our users.
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems and find efficient solutions in a timely manner.
• Write high-quality, testable code, and contribute to code reviews to maintain high standards of development practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the direction of the product’s technical vision.
• Continuously improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of the platform.
• Participate in rotating on-call support, providing assistance with production systems when necessary.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, helping them grow technically and professionally.

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Ruby, Java, etc.), with a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and web services architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to build scalable and reliable systems that operate in production at scale.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams.
• A deep understanding of testing principles and the ability to write automated tests that ensure the quality of code.
• A passion for mentoring junior engineers and helping build a culture of learning and improvement.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, including sprint planning, continuous integration, and delivery.
• Knowledge of advanced database concepts such as sharding, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and other containerization/orchestration tools.
