We are seeking an experienced Manager of IT Automation Engineering to lead our automation efforts and drive efficiency across our IT operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in automation engineering, experience with ServiceNow, and excellent leadership skills.

In this role you will:
 

  • Lead a team of automation engineers to design, develop, and implement automation solutions
  • Develop and execute automation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and prioritize projects
  • Design and implement automation workflows using ServiceNow, scripting languages, and other automation tools
  • Ensure automation solutions meet business requirements and industry best practices
  • Manage and maintain existing automation solutions, including troubleshooting and optimization
  • Develop and manage budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing within the team
     

What it takes:

5+ years of experience in IT automation engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Strong technical background in automation technologies, including ServiceNow, scripting languages, and automation frameworks
Experience with IT service management (ITSM) and IT operations management (ITOM) processes
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Additional Qualifications that make an impact (nice to haves):

Experience with ServiceNow, including certification (e.g., Certified System Administrator) a plus
Knowledge of cloud-based automation platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker)
Certification in ITSM/ITOM processes (e.g., ITIL)
