How You’ll Make an Impact:

FCC is undergoing significant transformation, including modernization and automation of business processes. The Senior Change Risk Specialist (internal title: Risk Specialist, Sr.) plays a pivotal role in ensuring these changes are introduced safely, with strong risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.

As the Risk Management representative on key projects, you will assess the impacts of new and modified processes, products, and systems. You will identify risks, evaluate controls, challenge assumptions, and ensure appropriate remediation is planned and delivered. This role requires strong relationship‑building capabilities, the ability to influence stakeholders, and a high degree of analytical skill.

What You Will Do:

Change Risk Support & Advisory

  • Represent FCC Risk Management on business and technology projects.
  • Analyze proposed changes, identify risk exposures, assess controls, and document required mitigations.
  • Provide constructive challenges to ensure risks are accurately recognized and addressed.
  • Work collaboratively with business partners to develop effective solutions and ensure timely implementation.
  • Clearly communicate risk implications to leaders, project teams, and control owners.

Governance & Risk Oversight

  • Lead the administrative aspects of the Change Risk process.
  • Ensure project risk and criticality ratings are completed, accurate, and appropriately challenged.
  • Maintain documentation and uphold adherence to risk policies and standards across all initiatives.

Business Process Automation & Improvement

  • Support enterprise efforts to automate business processes, ensuring risk considerations are integrated into design and implementation.
  • Identify opportunities where automation can reduce operational risk and strengthen control effectiveness.
  • Partner with teams leading automation initiatives to ensure risks are understood and mitigated early in the process.

Ad-hoc (as required)

  • Conduct thematic and process based risk assessments across the organization. This includes assisting business units to identify risks, assessing the design and operating effectiveness of controls, and helping to develop mitigation plans.
  • Develop and/or enhance reporting and dashboards to improve visibility and decision‑making.

What We Are Looking For:

Required

  • University degree required, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of work experience in risk management, operational risk, change risk, audit, compliance, or process/control design required.
  • Experience in process mapping required.
  • Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks and change management principles.
  • Experience representing risk on business or technology projects.
  • Skilled at translating complex risks into clear, actionable language.
  • Proven ability to challenge constructively and influence outcomes.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with data analytics (Power BI, advanced Excel, SQL, Python, or similar).
  • Exposure to business process automation, workflow tools, or process reengineering.
  • Financial services experience.
