Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery Department. You will work with a diverse patient population with various conditions, treatment plans, and acuity levels. You will work with both high risk and healthy patients and assist with Labor, C Sections, Recovery, Triage, and antepartum care of our obstetrical patients.
This position will provide you the opportunity to work with a top performing patient centered team that is supportive, compassionate, and solutions focused. They believe in helping each other, knowledge sharing, and keeping the patient at the forefront of everything they do.
The Shift:
PRN Night Shift 645 pm to 715 am
Employees who have work commitments that are at minimum 6 shifts within a 6 week period. Employee must work 2 weekend shifts within 6 weeks, 2 minor holidays or 1 major holiday
The Work:
Performs patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff
Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures
Must have a minimum of 2 years L&D Experience for PRN position
