You Are:

As a Sales Lead for Accenture Song’s Products Client Group, you will play a pivotal role in expanding one of Accenture’s most innovative business units across multiple industries. We’re looking for a dynamic leader with broad experience across our Products Client Group spanning Retail, Consumer Goods, Life Sciences, Industrial, and Automotive sectors. You have an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for personal development, and a drive to contribute to the growth of our Accenture Song business. You’ll lead the charge in bringing creative and technological solutions to our clients, helping them thrive in their respective markets.

As an Accenture Leader, you’ll set the standard for our teams and clients, demonstrating our core values and inspiring excellence. You will play a key role in shaping the success of Accenture Song and the Products Client Group, working collaboratively to deliver high-impact solutions that meet both short-term objectives and long-term ambitions.

The Work:

Business Development

  • Shape and drive the sales strategy for Accenture Song within the Products Client Group, focusing on industries like Consumer Goods & Services, Industrial, Life Sciences, Mobility, Retail, and Travel, with a particular emphasis on marketing transformations and services.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to global goals by driving new business development and expanding existing accounts, effectively managing sales pipelines, and forecasting accurately.
  • Identify and capture new opportunities, shaping high-value deals related to marketing transformations. Manage the full sales cycle from qualification through negotiation, ensuring that each deal aligns with client needs and Accenture’s business objectives.
  • Lead large and complex bids, often exceeding $10m, collaborating with C-suite executives across industries like Retail, Consumer Goods, Life Sciences, Industrial, and Automotive. Take the lead on both single- and multi-service opportunities to secure high-profile deals.
  • Work closely with Account Management teams to build and strengthen client relationships, deliver innovative marketing solutions, and ensure top-tier service across all target industries.
  • Develop winning sales strategies, managing every aspect of the deal creation process, including value propositions, deal qualifications, and closure, to maintain a competitive advantage in the Products industries.
  • Lead complex negotiations, developing win strategies, negotiation approaches, and closing plans. Coach deal teams and bring in the right experts at the right time to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Create compelling visions for deals through active listening, storytelling, and client engagement, managing the process from start to finish by building a strong deal team and work plan.
  • Engage Accenture leadership as needed, guiding deals through internal approvals to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and client needs.

Here’s What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Extensive Business Development experience, with expertise in selling marketing transformations and marketing services.
  • Strong client relationship management or delivery experience in large, complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills, with experience motivating and managing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, showing urgency, decisiveness, and adaptability.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain C-level relationships, providing high-impact and tailored solutions for clients.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience delivering marketing or digital commerce services.
  • Expertise in the end-to-end marketing and commerce space, including campaign management, content production, and analytics-based insights.
  • Strong experience working in or supporting industries such as Retail, Consumer Goods, Life Sciences, Industrial, and Automotive.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires approximately 25% travel to various customer locations within your industry portfolio.
