Finance Senior Specialist-Indonesia and Singapore Controller
 

The Regional Controllership team is focused on complementing the business segments by being closer to each area of operation across the business. The team provides strategic partnership to the GFC and business segments through specialized region knowledge, successful navigation of local requirements and accelerating issue resolution.

This role encompasses the regional controllership responsibilities across all APAC OFE entities，with Indonesia and Singapore being the primary sites.

As Finance Senior Specialist-Indonesia and Singapore Controller will have the following responsibilities:

• Operationalising BH policies and procedures in order to achieve a healthy and consistent controllership environment
• Managing regulatory requirements, facilitating matters resolution & collaborating with multiple functions / stakeholders
• Providing accounting advisory on commercial deals, supporting business queries from Ops & FP&A (business model aligned with regulatory requirement, accounting treatment)
• Identifying and monitoring operational challenges to identify exposures, risks, process simplification opportunities & taking key initiatives to drive efficiencies
• Driving key initiatives and projects, i.e. Legal Entity Rationalization, systems implementation, cash optimization, process simplification and standardization initiatives across functions
• Maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting by collaborating with various functions/stakeholders, ensure proper internal control & procedures are adhered
• Coordinating internal audits, and partnering with Biz / function / action owners on closure of findings

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Professional certification. e.g. ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA, etc.(Preferred)
• Minimum 10 years' working experience in finance, accounting or operational controllership
• Strong proficiency in English and Indonesian
• Financial Reporting & Analysis skills
• Problem resolution and logical thinking
• Local regulatory knowledge and risk assessment
• Knowledge of Indonesia Financial Accounting Standards and US GAAP standards
