TOMS is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our TOMS EMEA Supply Chain team in Amsterdam.

What you’ll do:

The Customer Service Representative will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will be the frontline ambassador for our brand, assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about our products and mission. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, empathetic, and dedicated to delivering outstanding service. You will report to our Customer Service Team Lead EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Management:

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, including order entry and payment processing.

  • Track shipments, monitor delivery status, and proactively address any potential issues to guarantee timely and secure delivery.

  • Proactively identify and resolve customer complaints, concerns, and product-related issues with a strong commitment to achieving customer satisfaction.

  • Receive and assess customer claims regarding product defects, shipping issues, or other concerns.

Customer Interaction:

  • Engage with customers to provide personalized and empathetic assistance.

  • Ensure a positive and seamless customer experience by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering product information.

  • Effectively communicate and upsell additional services, such as personalized product recommendations, warranty options, and customization features.

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and promote relevant value-added services.

Order to Cash Process:

  • Manage the end-to-end order to cash process, including order entry, invoicing, and payment processing.

  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely billing, monitor accounts receivable, and address any payment-related concerns.

Third Party Warehouse Interfaces:

  • Liaise with 3rd party warehouses to facilitate the seamless transfer of inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely order fulfillment.

  • Collaborate with warehouse partners to optimize logistics processes, troubleshoot any issues, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

What you bring:

  • At least 2-4 years customer service experience (preferably in the international sports or fashion industry)

  • Relevant degree or equivalent level through experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, any other language is a plus

  • Experienced in working with SAP and high proficiency level with Excel

  • Structured, date-driven and hands-on mentality

  • Ability to think creatively and multi-task in a high-pressure environment with deadlines

  • Strong customer centric approach and good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proactive and flexible with the ability to manage your time effectively and work independently

  • Enjoys making things better every day and you value creative thinking and accuracy
