The Regulatory Reporting role is a senior management position within the Controllers Organization. The individual will drive implementation of regulatory reports to various constituencies (local regulators, etc.) based on local regulatory reporting rules and instructions. The position will have a high level of visibility within the organization and will interact very closely with other Finance and non-Finance functions throughout Citi, including the Businesses, Risk, Treasury, Capital Controllers, SEC Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, as well as Enterprise Technology, & Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight to a team of senior team leads and influence collaboration across functional stakeholders to execute complex deliverables.
• Monitor technology book of work associated with reports to identify challenges and issues. Drive implementation of projects to mitigate the risk of regulatory commitments.
• Direct the team to drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the regulatory reporting process.
• Serve as a key point of contact for technology and business partners pertaining to automation of regulatory reporting . Represent the firm in regulatory discussions and industry forums.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the firm, including Risk, Finance, Audit to provide updates on regulatory developments and impact assessments.
• Provide thought leadership to peers and program leaders on technology/system changes and lead efforts to implement those changes within the reporting framework.
• Partner with Risk & Controls team to maintain and enhance an effective internal control’s structure. 

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of extensive experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting.
• 8-10+ years managerial experience.
• In-depth knowledge of financial systems with expertise in GAAP/SEC Reporting
• Able to navigate through a large organization to streamline and summarize multiple information points and create repeatable processes to build consistency in presenting information.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts, and influence change. 
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and an ability to identify conflicts, discrepancies and other issues and bring together the right team to solution them.
• Strategic mindset, ability to plan ahead to future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough strategies.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic and work well as part of a team.

Education:

Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
