What’s involved in this role: 

We are looking for a Intake Operator in Hull, Iowa.

The Intake Operator I is responsible for monitoring processes, materials and surroundings to ensure safety and quality of incoming liquid dairy product in accordance with applicable compliance and security protocols.

  • $21.69/hour
  • $1.50 Shift Differential
  • Double Time on Sundays and holidays
  • 2-2-3 Rotational Schedule

What you need to join our team:  

  • Antibiotic Testing License: to be obtained within 90 days of hire; in-house training provided.
  • Milk Sampling License: to be obtained within 90 days of hire; in-house training provided.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and complete required documentation.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, adapt to a changing environment quickly, and think independently.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.
  • Decisions administered soundly and consistently with policies and in compliance with appropriate laws and regulations. 
  • Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.
  • Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships.

Hull, Iowa

  • Our Hull, Iowa, plant is home to approximately 180 employees. We produce mozzarella, parmesan, romano, cheddar, gouda, and Monterey Jack cheeses as well as various whey streams.
