About the new role

As an experienced Control Algorithm Engineer for Systems & Controls CoE MASC team based in Shanghai, China, your goal is responsible for developing and deploying state-of-the-art controls solutions for wide range of business unit in Carrier’s, doing control analysis and leading related projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

As a Control Engineer, she or he will be responsible for:

  • Provide expertise in Fundamental analytical skills on control theory
  • Lead Control algorithm development, control system architecture design and controller verification process like Model-in-the-Loop (MiL), Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) processes.
  • Participate in global multidisciplinary projects, ensuring on-time and high quality deliverables
  • Lead the control related projects, including planning and required team coordination
  • Other work items arranged by supervisor

Requirements

People who are experienced in control analysis/development and providing control solutions for products.

As a minimum must have:

  • MS or Ph.D. in Mechanical or Control Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
  • Expertise in controller development software tools like Matlab/Simulink, C/C++.
  • Expertise in Control algorithm development and control system architecture design
  • Controller verification process experience like Model-in-the-Loop (MiL), Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) processes.
  • Understand thermo-fluid system dynamic analysis
  • Project execution and leadership experience.
  • Solid technical writing, presentation, project management and communication skills.
  • An entrepreneurial attitude towards innovation.
