About the Opportunity:

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 189-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.

This rewarding opportunity will see you join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) as an Enrolled Nurse on our Medical Ward.

Things that work for us:

  • Registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Enrolled Nurse 

  • Formal recognised qualifications in medication administration HLTEN507B, HLTEN507C (medication administration), HLTEN519C (IV medication administration) or equivalent    

  • Diploma in Nursing qualification or equivalent 

  • Ability to provide clinical practice and care consistent with the mission and philosophy of the facility 

  • Have a working knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations and legislation 

  • Ability to contribute towards effective risk management within the facility particularly in compliance with Work Health & Safety legislation 

  • Demonstrated application of contemporary infection control standards and practices
