We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Sr. Director to lead our Music & Audio Engagement team. This role is pivotal in creating and driving cutting-edge fundraising strategies across various music and audio platforms. The ideal candidate will excel in balancing high-level ALSAC priorities with effective day-to-day operations, fostering collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, and adapting to changing market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to ensure ALSAC meets its critical goals and supports overall business objectives efficiently. Build consensus around top-level strategies with leadership, peers, and team members, maintaining alignment through transparent communication.
Team Development: Mentor and coach a team of professionals, providing guidance on strategy, administration, policies, analysis, and communication. Cultivate a strong bench of future leaders.
Operational Excellence: Establish and enforce policies and procedures to enhance organizational effectiveness. Operate within budgetary parameters and utilize strong problem-solving skills to address issues collaboratively and proactively.
Collaborative Strategy Development: Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop long-term and annual strategies for audience recruitment and retention, crucial to ALSAC’s strategic plan success.
Growth Optimization: Identify critical issues and opportunities, developing strategic recommendations to optimize growth. Lead hybrid engagement strategies for program-specific campaigns, focusing on platforms, influencers, groups, and enhanced mission experiences.
Program Execution: Utilize industry trends and experience to develop and execute strategic plans and engagement opportunities within specific demographics. Focus on acquisition, engagement, fundraising, retention, coaching, and recognition.
Data-Driven Strategy: Employ a data-driven approach to inform strategy, using predictive analytics to stay ahead of trends and ensure robust outcomes.
Continuous Improvement: Benchmark against strategic plans for program growth and expansion. Recommend and develop new programs and partnerships, staying aware of marketing and fundraising trends.
Professional Development: Engage in continuous education to enhance knowledge of demographics and market trends. Perform market analysis, monitor industry trends, and make necessary program adjustments to remain competitive.
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain positive relationships and ongoing communication with Board Members, Chapter Members, third-party organizations, and volunteers. Represent ALSAC-St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital positively in all interactions.
