Crossroads is a leading addiction treatment provider of outpatient medication-assisted treatment (MAT). We treat patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) using medications such as methadone and suboxone/ buprenorphine. We pride ourselves in supporting our patients’ medical and personal recoveries from substance use disorder. Day in the Life of a Medical Director

• Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in our outpatient clinic settings

• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment

• Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards

• Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care to patients, including referrals to other medical providers and community services

• Function as a leader and mentor to center staff. Sign off on orders.

Schedule & Locations

• Myrtle Beach in-center 5 hours weekly (early morning hours). We can also offer additional hours in Charleston (5 hours weekly). We can be flexible with alternating weeks and schedule too. 5-10 hours weekly.

Education and Licensure Requirements

• Licensed, active Physician in the state of practice (SC)
• DEA licensure in SC
• Emergency or Internal Medicine experience with an interest in substance use disorders.
• Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) experience preferred
• Additional education or certification may be required depending on state of practice.
