Do work that matters:

As a Margin Lending Account Manager, your purpose is to provide outstanding customer service to new and existing Margin Lending customers. You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers in areas of Margin Lending via phone and/or email. You’ll thrive in an achievement-oriented environment and have a passion for providing an exceptional customer experience. We’ll need you to be inquisitive and ask the right questions at the right time to match our customer's needs with our offering.

We aim to differentiate CommSec from its competitors by delivering a truly customer-centric value proposition through superior customer service.

More specifically, you'll:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers and advisors in regards to Margin Lending
  • Assist with inbound CommSec Margin Lending service and trading enquiries via phone and email, taking ownership and following up on any client issues.
  • Educate clients in the mechanics of Margin Lending
  • Proactively make outbound calls to customers and/or advisors to provide/request follow up information or for processes such as Margin Call notification.
  • Educate customers about share trading platforms and ASX market rules and operation and provide technical assistance to customer accessing the CommSec website and mobile app.
  • Keep knowledge up to date in regards to CommSec Margin Lending systems, product, processes and services, as well as stay abreast of industry changes.
  • Assist other Brokering and Markets teams such as HVC, International and Options where required.
  • Implement & maintain a practice of prudent risk/cost identification, management and minimisation.

We are interested in people who:

  • Have a passion for customer service, with previous contact centre or customer facing experience being highly regarded.
  • Be a multitasker, with a phenomenal sense of time management and prioritisation.
  • Have experience within Financial Markets, Banking and/or Lending, allowing you to expertly educate clients on our product offering is highly regarded
  • Margin lending knowledge would be desirable but not essential
