Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of new test benches and test equipment
• Creation of designs for research and development projects in the field of mechanical seals, as well as test equipment and P&ID documentation
• Responsibility for the creation of test setups in cooperation with the design departments
• Key user of the department for 3D design programs and PLM systems
• Administration of test bench capacities and project offers
• Conducting seal tests and optimizations on test bench
• Initial 12 months of support for the design department for compressor seals

Qualifications:

• Completed bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Very confident use of 3D design programs and PLM systems (e.g. Solid Edge and Teamcenter).
• In-depth knowledge of the design of test benches and test setups, ideally for mechanical seals.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics.
• Desirable: Experience with pumps, compressors and agitators, and ideally, mechanical seal technology and supply systems
• Experience in project management and using the relevant tools
• Strong analytical thinking and creativity, as well as a structured approach to solving technical problems and interest in growth
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Proficient German (min. C1) and good English skills, both written and spoken
