We are seeking an experienced Associate Performance Manager to join us on a 7-month maternity cover contract. This role will be responsible for owning digital and performance channels, leading paid media strategy planning and execution, delivering against client KPIs, and managing day-to-day client relationships.
At its core, this role focuses on planning and implementing paid media campaigns across relevant biddable media platforms to achieve client objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong channel expertise, analytical rigour, and confidence managing large volumes of data in a fast-paced environment.
Lead the end-to-end development of holistic paid media strategies, with strong emphasis on Search (Google) and Retail Media platforms (Amazon, Shopee, Lazada), ensuring full-funnel integration.
Develop and present channel recommendations and detailed media plans incorporating search intent, retail signals, audience insights and performance projections.
Manage discussions around programmatic and digital performance campaigns across multiple ad platforms for complex, KPI-driven clients.
Oversee campaign setup, QA, optimisation and reporting across Search and Retail Media platforms.
Collaborate closely with ad operations and platform teams to ensure accurate implementation and timely delivery.
Monitor campaign pacing, produce weekly performance reports, end-of-campaign reports and manage cost reconciliation for finance billing.
Drive performance outcomes across paid search, retail media and relevant programmatic channels, ensuring alignment with KPIs such as ROAS, conversions, new-to-brand users and sales growth.
Analyse large datasets to derive actionable insights and optimisation recommendations.
Collaborate with global and regional teams across multiple markets to ensure consistent execution and strong performance outcomes.
5–6 years of experience in performance marketing or digital media planning/activation, with hands-on expertise in Search and Retail Media (Amazon, Shopee, Lazada).
Solid understanding of programmatic and display ecosystems, including DSPs (e.g. Amazon DSP), audience targeting, measurement frameworks and ad operations.
Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, Amazon Advertising Console and commerce platform ad managers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail; proficient in Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulae).
Strong business acumen, problem-solving and project management capabilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
