The Opportunity
To support our aggressive sales growth and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our global sales channels, we are seeking a highly analytical and process-oriented individual to join our Sales team as a Channel Operations Analyst. This plays a key role in supporting the global distribution channel strategy by managing operational processes, ensuring data integrity, analyzing channel performance, and improving distributor engagement. This role enables scalable growth and compliance through optimized tools, reporting, and streamlined communication with channel partners and internal stakeholders.
What You Will Do:
Channel Data and Analytics
Analyze channel POS (Point-of-sale), inventory, and backlog reports submitted by distributors
Monitor sell-in, sell-through, and inventory health to support business reviews
Identify trends and provide actionable insights to Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams
Maintain KPIs for distributor performance (e.g, revenue growth, forecast accuracy, inventory turns)
Operational Support
Manage key processes including:
Price protection validation and claim processing
Stock rotation and scrap allowance requests
Ship and Debit claim analysis and approvals
Tools and reporting
Develop and maintain dashboards and trackers for channel-related metrics using Excel, Tableau, etc.
Assist in system integration and automation projects
(Should be familiar with these systems: ModelN, Oracle, Salesforce, Tableau)
Compliance & Governance
Ensure channel activities follow internal policies, SOX controls, and audit requirements
Support onboarding and offboarding of distributors and sales reps, including training on tools and processes.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Act as a liaison between the Order Management, Marketing+Pricing, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams on program deployment and promotions.
What You Will Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales Operations, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
2+ years of experience in an analytical, operations, or project management role, preferably within a Sales Operations, Channel Management, or Business Analyst function in the semiconductor or high-tech industry.
Experience handling global distributors
Experience in the semiconductor or electronics industry is highly preferred.
Knowledge of industry practices such as POS analysis, design registration, and Ship & Debit.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and extensive experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is required.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex sales data into clear, actionable insights and present findings to various stakeholders, including sales leadership.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for process improvement and operational efficiency within a sales context.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across sales teams and with external partners.
