Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Developer to join the Next Gen Full Stack Development team. This position will be a remote worker opportunity.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deliver and maintain software design and development solutions using Microsoft Visual Studio (utilizing .NET Core C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Python, Bootstrap, Django), and supporting technologies as applicable
  • Perform object-oriented design and API driven development with appropriate use of design patterns like MVC, Vertical Slices and CQRS
  • Learn, work and participate in Agile-driven software development using Scrum and/or Kanban
  • Assist colleagues in the development of new custom solutions and/or upgrading current solutions following the software development lifecycle

Basic Qualifications:

A successful candidate must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum two years related experience with a related Bachelors degree
  • Zero years related experience with a related Masters degree
  • Web-based software development experience (appropriate college coursework may be acceptable)
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, or other IDE environments
  • Experience developing software using .NET Framework and .NET Core development frameworks utilizing C#  
  • Experience with Python development
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle or cloud-native databases  
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
  • Excellent presentation and writing/communication skills
  • Self-motivated, desire to continue learning, and able to contribute to a high-performing team
  • Leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities
  • Exposure to, or working knowledge of, any of the following technologies: Automated Testing, AzDO, Entity Framework, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, etc.

Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
