As the Global Pricing Expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive, company-wide global pricing strategy. This includes understanding the current state of the business, analyzing market opportunities, and integrating legacy practices with future innovations. You will work across multiple sales channels and product offerings to optimize pricing for individual fonts, font families, and library access. Additionally, you will partner with external foundries and resellers to ensure cohesive and competitive pricing strategies. Your goal will be to maximize revenue while maintaining competitive positioning and value in our services and software.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and implement a global pricing strategy for enterprise/direct sales, indirect/partner sales, mid-market sales, eCommerce, and API channels.
  • Analyze market opportunities, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform pricing decisions.
  • Evaluate and integrate legacy pricing practices with future innovations to drive sustainable growth.
  • Optimize pricing for various licensing rights, volumes, use cases, and value propositions.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
  • Partner with external foundries and resellers to ensure cohesive and competitive pricing strategies.
  • Monitor and adjust pricing strategies based on market feedback, performance metrics, and industry trends.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on pricing policies and practices across the organization.

What we’re looking for:

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
  • 15+ years of pricing experience in IP and/or software industries.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing global pricing strategies.
  • Experience with enterprise and direct sales, indirect/partner sales, mid-market sales, eCommerce, and API channels.
  • Strong understanding of licensing rights, volumes, use cases, and subscription models.
  • Ability to analyze market data, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform pricing decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
