JOB SUMMARY

Supervisor of Integrity Management and Regulatory Compliance is an exciting and integral role to the success of ONEOK’s Facility Integrity Management Program (FIMP). This role actively engages key stakeholders with the organization to ensure the overall success and risk evaluation of ONEOK’s pipeline facility assets. The objective of this role is to supervise the FIMP processes that are used to assess and manage risks associated with operating the hazardous liquid and natural gas pipeline facilities. This role also ensures ONEOK meets the requirements of integrity management programs required under Title 49 CFR 195.452 and Title 49 CFR 192.911 of the federal pipeline safety regulations.

Job Profile Summary

Supervise employees responsible for supporting Integrity Management Program (IMP).

 

Consistently works toward, or develops, resolutions to complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors.  Work is accomplished without considerable direction and consistently acts independently to determine methods/procedures to obtain results.  Routine work is not generally reviewed.  Erroneous decisions or recommendations generally would result in the inability to reach crucial organizational objectives.

 

Provides general supervision to experienced exempt or professional level employees who exercise significant latitude and independence in daily work, and/or has supervisory authority over a group which combines both non-exempt support personnel requiring more direct supervision, and exempt-level professional who require less direct supervision.  Acts as an advisor to a function or group and may be actively involved as required to meet schedules or objectives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates subject matter expert round table discussions as part of the Facility Risk Analysis Process. Ensures accurate and complete documentation of Facility Risk Analysis Process, data integration, risk modeling, and engineering assessments.
  • Develop processes to further advance and utilize data integration during the Facility Risk Analysis Process and that can be utilized in the overall integrity management of pipeline facility assets.
  • Support and lead the technical development of each assigned employee in the areas of the regulatory requirements, proposed regulatory rule makings, corporate processes and procedures, and the understanding of risk mitigation. Employees typically include members of the Engineering Development Program (EDP).
  • Review and analyze industry papers, industry events, proposed rule makings, etc. to help recommend enhancements to ONEOK’s FIMP and to the ONEOK Management System (OMS).
  • Support the review and analysis of pipeline facility Abnormal Operation (AO) events to evaluate trends and drive recommendations to reduce future AO events.
  • Represent ONEOK in external PHMSA audits as a representative of the facility integrity management team and subject matter expert of the program.
  • Manage project life cycle for capital maintenance projects as assigned to the team including scoping, submitting for funding, forecasting and execution of projects within pipeline facilities.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred

Experience

  • 6 - 10 years related work experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • PE License preferred
