The Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing marketing analytics and reporting solutions, with a focus on Power BI, SQL, and website analytics. This role coordinates with internal stakeholders and external vendors to gather requirements, ensure data integrity, and support campaign measurement. The ideal candidate will blend technical proficiency with business analysis skills, enabling the team to scale insights, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics & Reporting

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI and other analytics platforms.
  • Query and analyze marketing data using SQL to support campaign performance, audience segmentation, and business questions.
  • Integrate website analytics (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) into holistic reporting for digital marketing initiatives.

Business Analysis & Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams (including Marketing and cross-functional business unit stakeholders in Sales and Fixed Ops) and external partners (e.g., marketing agencies, data partners) to gather requirements for building audiences, analytics and reporting projects.
  • Translate business requirements to technical teams to facilitate requirements documentation, campaign QA, and support for troubleshooting and updates to marketing data and website content.
  • Coordinate tagging strategy and analytics implementation with agency partners.

Process Improvement & Support

  • Assist with data modeling, dashboard development, and self-service analytics enablement.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and training materials for new reports and analytics tools.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and respond to field questions, translating business needs into actionable data insights.

Project Management (Supporting)

  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and requirements for analytics initiatives.
  • Support cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Marketing, Business or related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with other Power Platform applications (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SQL querying.
  • Experience with website analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics (preferred), Google Analytics, or Microsoft Clarity.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills; able to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, campaign measurement, and website content management.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong learning orientation and curious in approach to data
  • Team-oriented mindset and working well with others
