As a Sr. Associate, EFA Management supporting the EFA team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, maintaining accounts, and acting as a key business partner to the Surgical Business Planning and Analysis (BPA). You will be the main contact with the EMEA EFA Center of Excellence and handle monthly and quarterly reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This position plays a critical role in supporting the Surgical Sales Force and Finance teams by managing complex financing agreements for capital equipment sales and placements, as well as overseeing Rebate and Discount agreements. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Partner with Sales to negotiate and prepare financing contracts, ensuring adherence to pricing guidelines and approval processes.

  • Consult with Legal, IT, Finance, and Sales leadership on contract language and interpretation.

  • Administer contract awards, including product details, pricing, and communication to relevant departments.

  • Accurately set up contracts in internal systems for payment calculations and compliance monitoring.

  • Prepare and manage Rebate and Discount agreements, ensuring timely and accurate compliance calculations and payment recommendations.

  • Conduct in-depth portfolio analysis, track financial performance, and report findings to leadership.

  • Evaluate account compliance and implement remediation plans as needed.

  • Recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and automation.

  • Provide guidance and assist in training less experienced team members.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance, Administration, or related)

  • Excel intermediate

  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounts receivable, customer service, or related.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Expertise in contract management and financial analysis.

  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and contract systems.

  • Excellent written and verbal English skills, along with quantitative, interpersonal, and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Knowledge of surgical capital equipment financing preferred.
