Experienced Veterinary Technician - Adobe Animal Hospital!

Adobe Animal Hospital is actively looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our amazing team. We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Veterinary Technician who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood, and running bloodwork, has experience with x-rays and proper positioning, understands the importance of client education, and is a supportive and positive team player. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and growing, and Adobe Animal Hospital encourages its staff to do the same. Salary: $15 – 18 per hour

Schedule: Part-time and Full-time opportunities available. Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 6 pm, Opening on Saturdays soon! Closed on Sunday and major holidays.

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of veterinary experience as a veterinary technician or assistant
• License in the State of Texas preferred – but not required
• Knowledge of basic industry tools and equipment
• Able to lift and handle large dogs (Over 50lbs)
• Experience with proper animal handling/restraint
• Help in the exam rooms alongside the veterinarian
• Work closely with other team members to assist in daily hospital duties (bloodwork, x-rays, animal monitoring, vaccines, exams, surgery, etc.)
• Positive team player
• Able to multitask effectively and efficiently
• General housekeeping
• Stocking supplies and counting inventory​
