Operations Manager - MITC DTA unit

Reporting To:

Director, Deputy Site, MITC

Work Schedule:

Onsite – Bangalore, IN

JOB SUMMARY
Leads the operations management for the site, ensuring the successful execution of the site business plan. This includes Production, Planning, Sales Order Entry, Manufacturing Engineering, and Supply Chain Operations Teams for the business. Manages experienced technical professionals. Advises Genesys Senior Leadership team on India site Operations.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Manages key elements of tactical and operational plans with measurable contribution towards the achievement of business results.
 Problems faced require complicated solutions and are sometimes complex.
 Leads moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems, or products to enhance performance of the area of responsibility.
 Create/Lead the operations India strategy for the business consistent with the vision, mission, and values of the organization.
 Responsible for the planning and execution of all sites operational processes, goal setting/achievement, and compliance with safety and regulatory policies and procedures.
 Coordinate with MITC Shared Services for site Operations (HR, Facilities, Etc…)
 Support the continuous improvement activities and quality improvement initiatives.
 Analyze, evaluate, and report all Site KPIs.
 Resolve issues that arise and strategize solutions that will enable the successful execution of the business plan.
 Collaborate cross-functionally to create coordinated plans for business execution.
 Manage expenditures to meet budgets.
 Develops a positive work environment for employees which supports personal growth and development while encouraging continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.


REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
 Broad management knowledge to lead multiple job areas.
 Communication and interpersonal skills that foster an environment of trust, respect, and integrity.
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 Excellent change management, business acumen, and organizational skills.
 Strong Background in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Tools.
 Experience in MRP/ERP systems.
 Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
 Good Understanding of FAA & AS9100 requirements for Operations.
Education and Experience:
 Bachelor’s degree required with 10 years of related experience in Operations or master’s degree & 7
years of experience.
 5+ years leadership/management experience.
