Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Associate Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, modern web applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in React.js and backend technologies like Node.js, Next.js, or Python, along with a strong architectural mindset and experience guiding teams across the full software development lifecycle.
This role involves owning technical design, driving best practices, and mentoring development teams while working closely with product owners, UX, and DevOps teams.
A typical day involves collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are aligned with business objectives. You will engage in problem-solving activities and contribute to the overall success of the projects by leveraging your expertise in application development.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Define and own the architecture of full stack solutions leveraging React on the frontend and Node.js / Next.js / Python on the backend.
Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and performant technical solutions.
Guide and review the design, implementation, and optimization of microservices, APIs, and reusable components.
Establish coding standards, performance benchmarks, and ensure high-quality code through peer reviews and design validations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, DevOps, and QA to deliver cohesive and efficient solutions.
Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the delivery process; ensure alignment with enterprise architecture guidelines.
Lead architectural discussions, POCs, and technology evaluations to stay ahead of trends.
Act as a technical mentor and thought leader within the engineering team.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in React.js.
- React full stack development with backend in either Node.js, Next.js or Python
- Strong understanding of front-end development principles and best practices.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
- Integrate with third-party services, RESTful APIs, and internal microservices.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
- Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Required Technical Skills
Frontend:
• Proficiency in React.js (hooks, context, state management)
• Experience with TypeScript, Redux / Zustand / Context API
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and responsive design
• Experience with component libraries like Material UI, TailwindCSS, or AntD
• Familiarity with Next.js (SSR, routing, static site generation)
Backend (choose one or more):
• Node.js with Express.js, NestJS, or custom frameworks
• Next.js for full-stack rendering (API routes, SSR)
• Python (Flask, Django, FastAPI) for building RESTful APIs
• Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs and GraphQL (optional)
• Working knowledge of authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth2)
Other Technical Skills:
• Hands-on experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and basic cloud deployments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in React.js.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
