We are currently looking to hire a Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Westside Animal Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

Westside Animal Hospital is seeking self-motivated, outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic team players for an entry-level position. The position's responsibilities include performing janitorial, maintenance, and cleaning tasks, caring for hospitalized animals, assisting the veterinary technician staff, and reception duties.

Required, is a keen attention to detail and cleanliness; our hospital maintains a high standard of sanitation and organization. Experience in a veterinary or closely related field is preferred. Appropriate candidates must thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment with a strong aptitude for multi-tasking, initiative, and independent productivity.

Hourly Pay: Starting at $16.00 per hour, this varies depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: The hospital hours are 7:30 am-6 pm Monday-Friday, and 8 am - 3 pm on Saturdays. The work schedule is approximately 35-40 hours per week, including at least two monthly Saturdays.
