We are currently recruiting for a VP, Working Capital Distribution in Amsterdam.

The MBE subsidiary based in The Netherlands is a network of branches (Germany Branch (Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich), Spain Branch (Madrid), Belgium Branch (Brussels), Austria Branch (Vienna)), managed from Amsterdam. 

 

Your responsibilities 

  • Facilitate the distribution of working capital assets including SCF, receivables, inventory, prepayment and other trade finance transactions 

  • Lead the distribution strategy for specific transactions including the selection of investors, defining the amounts to sell, preparing term sheets 

  • Negotiating terms with investors and internal stakeholders to optimise deal structure and pricing 

  • Champion the execution of legal agreements, collaborating closely with internal and external legal teams, providing strategic business input throughout the process  

  • Ensure smooth closure of transactions including participation documents, investor onboarding and funding 

  • Ongoing management of existing investors, maintaining an updated investor database including but not limited to call reports and investor documentation 

  • Cultivate a robust network of investors to develop benchmarks and unlock potential distribution/ participation opportunities 

  • Work with internal stakeholders and external investors to identify and execute new participation opportunities 

  • Work with structuring teams to understand the underlying structures to be able to accurately represent those structures to investors 

 

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following: 

  • Min 5-7 years of experience in the financial services sector with minimum 3 years of structuring and/or distributing working capital solutions 

  • Ability to pitch transactions and cross-sell solutions to potential investors 

  • Strong understanding of financial statements and credit risk assessment 

  • Experience structuring SCF, receivables, inventory, prepayment, securitisation, distribution strategy and optimal pricing structures 

  • Proven aptitude to communicate and manage multiple stakeholders including senior management, front office, legal, risk, compliance and investors 

  • Strategic thinking, effective delegation and decision-making under tight timelines 

  • Awareness of industry specific trends and risks 

  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to take charge, follow up and execute multiple activities concurrently

  •  5,00 net remote working compensation per day, with a maximum of € 60,00 per month.

  • Remote Working Policy i.e. Working From Home (WFH) and Remote Working in another Country.
