In this role you’ll make an impact by:
To be successful in this role, you should be a strong logical thinker with the ability to solve complex technical problems and communicate in an understandable and convincing manner. In addition, you should have a business understanding of how the science and technology will impact economic factors for Novonesis and for our customers. In this dynamic and evolving industry, you will need to be able to adapt to diferent Industry scenarios and dynamics.

To succeed you must hold:

• University Degree in a scientific field such as Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, etc
• Good knowledge of vegetable oil processing and refining;
• Previous experience in Oils & Fats processing Industry would be a plus
• Strong analytical skills for data analysis and reporting
• Willingness to learn and work with different technologies
• Strong communication skills
• English communication skills are desired
• Spanish communication skills are desired
• Ownership skills (to lead projects and coordinate technical activities within customers & partners)
• Ability to Support the design and conduct mill trials at customers
• Great teamwork habits
• Creativity (innovation projects, process improvements)
• Ability to develop external and internal relationships
• Business mindset

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Support the design of the industrial tests to be done in the different customers in Latin America
• Perform industrial tests of the different products in the different customers in Latin America
• Follow up after the test to data analysis, evaluate the results and define next steps and conclusions
• Elaborate reports
• Regular meetings with the customers and Technical support in general  
• Keep updated and use the internal system used in Novonesis (SalesForce) for each customer
• Regular meetings with the internal account team of Novonesis
• Active participation in projects of the industry of Oils & Fats that Novonesis has.
• Active participation with the Novonesis commercial team to achieve the sales and profitability targets
• Active participation in new proposals and ideas to improve the technical support for our customer
• Availability to travel aprox 50 % of the time
