We are now looking for a Legal Counsel with French language to join our team.
Daily challenges
- Draft, review and negotiate various types of customer contracts and contractual documents, including contract amendments, change notices and others;
- Provide ongoing advice to account teams regarding the legal and commercial implications of specific contract terms and conditions, including analyzing, drafting and reviewing IT contracts with respect to contract and commercial activities;
- Working closely with DXC's pursuit teams and internal stakeholders on RFPs and new business opportunities;
- Perform legal, administrative, and operational research to support the proposal and contract development;
- Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues;
- Assist account teams with change control notices and amendments to existing agreements;
- Guiding DXC's managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations;
- Develop DXC's positions on various legal matters.
Experience and skills required
- Master`s degree in Law (a Business or Law degree from a French University is a strong advantage)
- Professional Fluency in French and English;
- 2 - 4 years of experience in a law firm and/or global corporation. Outsourcing/supplier experience would be considered an advantage;
- Good understanding of the contractual and commercial risks/issues in transactions;
- Good working knowledge of the fundamental legal provisions of commercial contracts;
- Ability to provide guidance/interpretation on existing contract provisions.
