Are you passionate about veterinary dermatology? The Dermatology Department at Willows Referral Service is delighted to offer a 1-year Dermatology Internship Training Programme designed to prepare aspiring veterinarians for advanced training and specialization in dermatology. 

 

What We Offer: 

  • Intensive training in the diagnosis and management of dermatological conditions in veterinary patients. 

  • Hands-on experience with medical, diagnostic, and therapeutic dermatology techniques. 

  • Structured learning to build a solid foundation in dermatological diseases and treatments. 

  • Exposure to a multidisciplinary team working collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient care. 

  • Weekend working on a 1:3 rota, supporting the primary care out-of-hours team, with compensatory days off for weekend shifts. 

 

Who Should Apply: 

  • Motivated veterinarians with a passion for dermatology. 

  • Applicants must have a minimum of two years’ postgraduate experience in practice. 

  • Completion of a one-year rotating internship or equivalent is preferred. 

  • Strong communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English are essential. 

  • A team-oriented individual dedicated to the highest standards of patient and client care.

Willows is home to extensive surgical and diagnostic facilities with a superbly equipped Intensive Care Unit. In-patient care is a priority, with 24-hour care provided by our team of Interns, Nurses, and other Clinical Support staff. The practice is iCatCare accredited at Gold Level. In joining Willows, you will have the opportunity to work alongside internationally renowned Specialists across our multi-disciplinary team, including Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, Oncology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Cardiology, Dermatology, Imaging, Anaesthesia, and Emergency and Critical Care. Salary Value: £37,000 per annum;
