Summary:

In this role, you will drive revenue growth by maximizing contract utilization and building strategic relationships with existing customers, leveraging field and phone-based sales skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with the senior account executives, suppliers, and distributors to move customers through the onboarding process.
  • Maximize contract utilization for existing clients by identifying areas for improvement and expansion through field and phone-based sales.
  • Support Senior Account Executives in revenue generating activity.
  • Develop and implement sales initiatives within a defined territory.
  • Manage relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and vendors.
  • Conduct business reviews and attend strategic planning meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with supply partners to conduct joint sales calls to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain all sales activity within Salesforce.com.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience in sales or account management role required.
  • Strong analytical, customer service, presentation, and consultative selling skills required.
  • Experience working effectively with C-suites required.
  • Knowledge of GPO, supply chain, and non-acute pharmacy market preferred.
  • Sales pipeline development and management, and Salesforce experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $109,700.00.
