Position Purpose:
The Manager of Finance will provide end-to-end financial leadership for the FDC/BDC platform within the Supply Chain network, with a strong focus on 4-wall expense management, planning, and reporting. This role partners closely with operational and cross-functional leaders to translate business activities into financial insights, enabling data-driven decision-making and driving alignment between operations and financial performance.

This leader will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and pro-forma analysis, while developing and executing cost control strategies to optimize profitability and achieve business goals. The role also identifies process improvement opportunities, leveraging data and metrics to enhance efficiency, manage performance, and support long-term value creation.

In addition, the Manager will lead and coordinate financial activities across teams, ensuring operational processes are compliant with company policies and aligned with department objectives. Success in this role requires strong collaboration across Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Real Estate, and Information Systems to solve complex business challenges, drive key financial metrics, and support strategic initiatives across the Supply Chain network.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Analysis/Problem Solving - Works to fully understand business; identify and implement process and organizational improvements. Plans and ensures execution of department objectives. Participates in preparation of the annual budget, reviews monthly expenditures and ensures that budgetary goals are met. Reviews monthly metrics to ensure goals are met.
  • Conduct financial planning for function and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Leads, plans, and coordinates work teams in an efficient manner to effectively perform any financial function and activity; utilizes metrics to track performance and manage workload. Ensures operational processes and procedures are compliant and consist with established policies.
  • Drive key functional financial metrics.
  • Project Management- Develops and supports a strategic alliance with business partners. Participates in cross-functional activities focused on solving business issues and enhancing our competitive advantage. Facilitates cross-functional communication with other areas of the business including but not limited to Finance, Human Resources, Real Estate, Operations, and Information Systems.


Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • Typically reports to a Director level
  • This position has no direct reports.


Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.


Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
