Job Description
The SAP VISTEX / SD functional consultant is responsible for delivery and support of any issues or enhancements coming into SAP OTC area. By understanding the overall business process, he should be able to take care of any issues in the existing system while taking up any new enhancements or projects coming in the OTC area. This also includes understanding the clear business requirement and to implement in the system along with the co-ordination with other modules such as MM/PP/QM/WM/FICO and ABAP, as and when required.
- Collaborates closely with the business to understand business requirements.
- Performs planning, analysis, designing, requirements definition, functional design, development, testing and implementation of IT solutions.
- Provides support for difficult and complex system environments.
- Provides support, assistance, and training to users.
- Drives small to medium sized projects with planning, development, and implementation of system solutions.
- Simultaneously coordinates activities for multiple projects and activities.
- Effectively uses ITIL methodology in performing all tasks.
- Meets with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues.
- Ensures compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.
- Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- Creates systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to application developers.
- Coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
- Conducts research on software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor.

Qualifications
- 8 to 10 years of experience in SAP SD module.
- BA/BS in Information Technology or Computer Science or the equivalent of 8 years professional experience in IT Applications development and support.
- Experience in any other related module and integration knowledge with other SAP functional modules.
- Basic debugging experience is great to have.
- Should have worked in minimum 1 end to end implementation project.
- Added advantage if experienced in S4.
- Familiar with a variety of sales methodologies, tools, and frameworks from multiple industries / businesses.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, documenting and training of IT applications.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in SAP support.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a customer service orientated environment.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- High energy, self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse remote teams, managing through a matrix structure, and will require strong analytical skills, process & project management, combined with well-developed team leadership and influencing skills.
- Agile methodology experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including preparation and delivery of executive-level presentations
- Proven analytical, problem-solving and process management skills
- Demonstrated tendency to challenge the status quo and drive constant improvement in process and ability to achieve organizational goals
- Ability to travel up to 10%; may include international travel
SAP VISTEX SKILLS and EXPERTISE:
- Configuration knowledge SAP Contract Management.
- Configuration knowledge SAP IP Documents CHARGEBACKS, BILLBACKS, SALES INCENTIVES.
- Good Expertise in CLAIM Workbench through Settlement process.
- Configuration knowledge of Calculation Run for Settlement.
- Experience in both COMPOSITE and TRANSACTIONAL MODELS.
- Good Knowledge in MEMBERSHIP WORKBENCH
- Configuration knowledge on VISTEX Tracking screen.
- Need to Work independently on Change Requests that are required in Configuration or Enhancement as per the business requirement.
- Co-ordinate with cross functionalities along with ABAP team members and providing them FS document for developing new requirements as per business.
- Work and Co-ordinate with BASIS Team for all Patch, Support Packs, VERSION Upgrades and updates
- Prepared Test Scripts for all the scenarios for S4 HANA Upgrade.
- Need to Work on preparation of manual test case templates.
- Preparation of Unit testing and integration testing documents and Templates for new developments
- Good Knowledge in INTERFACES and EDI /IDOC Process.
- Good knowledge in SAP VISTEX – BW INTEGRATION / REPORTING.
