Contentstack CMS Architect – AEM Migration Specialist
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Contentstack CMS Architect to lead enterprise-scale migration initiatives from Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to Contentstack. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in headless CMS architecture, content modeling, migration strategy, API-driven integrations, and composable digital experience platforms.
The role involves defining scalable Contentstack architectures, designing migration frameworks, modernizing legacy AEM implementations, and enabling seamless content delivery across multiple digital channels.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end migration programs from AEM to Contentstack.
Analyze existing AEM environments including:
Components
Templates
Content Fragments
Experience Fragments
DAM assets
Workflows
MSM structures
Design scalable and reusable Contentstack content models.
Define migration strategies, content mapping, taxonomy, and metadata structures.
Develop automated migration utilities and transformation pipelines for structured and unstructured content.
Architect headless and composable CMS solutions using Contentstack APIs and modern frontend frameworks.
Design integrations with:
DAM platforms
Search services
Personalization engines
Analytics tools
Translation systems
Commerce platforms
Ensure SEO preservation during migration including:
URL strategy
Redirects
Metadata migration
Structured data handling
Establish governance standards, authoring best practices, and publishing workflows.
Collaborate with engineering, UX, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
Provide architecture documentation, technical leadership, and implementation guidance.
Support CI/CD implementation and cloud-native deployment models.
Mentor teams on Contentstack architecture and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of:
JavaScript / TypeScript
Node.js
REST APIs
GraphQL
Experience with Contentstack Management API and Delivery API.
Experience integrating Contentstack with:

Angular
Mobile applications
Familiarity with microservices and API-first architecture.
Additional Information:
10+ years of CMS implementation experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Contentstack.
Experience designing headless CMS and composable architectures.
Deep understanding of structured content and omnichannel delivery.
