Job Summary:**
The Purchasing Intern will support the purchasing department in day-to-day operations, gaining hands-on experience in procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control within a global manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Assist with the processing of purchase orders and requisitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
* Support the purchasing team in supplier communication, including inquiries about order status, delivery schedules, and documentation.
* Participate in data entry and maintenance within Jabil's purchasing systems (e.g., ERP, supplier databases).
* Help prepare reports and analyze purchasing data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, engineering, finance) to ensure timely and effective material procurement.
* Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers or alternative materials.
* Assist with inventory reconciliation and management activities as needed.
