The Opportunity

As an Assent Management Intern, you will have an impact on the entire organization by helping to manage the end-to-end process of all assets in the organization.  You will be supporting the development and implementation of asset management processes and procedures. You will be working with other members of asset management and other teams in the organization to support MassMutual Ascend’s operations. 

Job Responsibilities

As an Asset Management Intern, you will assist in the development, maintenance and implementation of relevant policies and procedures to help manage the end-to-end lifecycle of all assets. You will accomplish this through the following tasks:

• Participating in the software lifecycle management process.
• Perform audits to ensure adherence to software and vendor management process.
• Preform audits related to all open-source software in the organization.
• Assists in the research, evaluation, and recommendation of new processes for onboarding and management of browser extensions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Entering at least 2nd year of higher education pursuing a degree in technology or related field.
• Familiarity with basic software installation and management.
• Familiarity with the Agile methodology
• Analytical and innovative mindset, result and service oriented, eagerness to tackle challenges and adjust to changes

Ideal Qualifications

• Communication and Presentation skills
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office suite of products.
