Position Summary:
Responsible for supporting deal flow and the analysis and purchase of portfolios of defaulted consumer accounts. Primary focus will be on organization, coordination and execution of transaction related work. Also responsible for establishing rapport and working on transactions with selected issuers and resellers, including follow up on items related to post sale coordination.Key Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
Oversee and perform processes that involve deal binders, including requests from other departments.
Execution and return of confidentiality agreements and contracts.
Reviewing contracts for accuracy and completion.
Collecting seller survey feedback and gathering due diligence information.
Preparing deal binders and coordinate timely closing of transactions.
Communicating deal and contact information to internal and external associates.
Aid in preparation of New Portfolio Descriptions and coordinate timely dissemination.
Aid in the organization, development and coordination of department procedures and workflow, making recommendations for process improvement.
Identify and produce accurate ad hoc analyses related to role as required by Business Development and Client Services department.
Respond to Requests for Information and Requests for Proposals related to portfolio sale offerings.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies across areas of organizational responsibility.
Prepare for and participate in monthly/quarter client update calls and onsite oversite discussions.
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business, or project management recommended.
At least 1 year of related and pertinent work experience.
Must be computer savvy.
Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Access; experience with SharePoint and Business Objects a plus.
Must have effective organizational, communication, time-management and interpersonal skills and high attention to detail.
Must be able to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
