Systems and Data Analyst (Systems and Data Analyst-General)

We are looking for Systems and Data Analyst. This Customer & Product Support position based at our offices in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is part of a successful team that provides technical consultancy on engine maintenance and fleet planning.

EFPAC is a total aircraft engine management solution specifically designed to support proactive risk management with visibility of financial exposures. The solution leverages advanced analytics to allow easy engine technical records control, lease management, maintenance planning and financial forecasting. This enables engineering, finance, and planning to work together seamlessly when producing budget forecasts, engine removal forecasts, "what if" scenarios and cost per hour analysis.

Position Responsibilities:

  • New Customer implementations
    • Project manage customer implementations
    • Understand customer requirements and business goals and define the most appropriate way to achieve them
    • Perform data analysis to import data to Engine Fleet Planning and Costing (EFPAC)
    • Manage the customer relationship
    • Act as focal point for EFPAC/Boeing, involving key stakeholders when necessary
    • Preparing required training material and delivering the training.
  • Customer Support
    • Support customer business goals and requirements
    • Investigate and problem solve customer issues
    • Interact with internal and external customers
    • Engage and support customer team members
    • Provide regular customer interaction

  • Product Support
    • Support the development of major application enhancements or re-designs
    • Provide detailed functional specifications
    • Improvement acceptance testing
    • Identify and report bugs, and support the EFPAC Development team with fixes
    • Conduct regression testing ahead of software releases
    • Provide feedback to improve the team’s processes and procedures

Basic qualifications:

  • Aeronautical or equivalent engineering degree and/or relevant experience in the aviation industry
  • In-depth understanding of engine configuration and maintenance philosophy
  • Familiar with engine maintenance and fleet planning
  • Ability to communicate optimally with strong presentation skills
  • Proficiency in English language

Preferred qualifications:(nice to have)

  • Project management skills
  • Customer support experience
  • Knowledge and experience in the IT industry
  • Working pro-actively in a small team with a can-do attitude

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Pay and benefits will be determined at the local level.  Successful candidates must have legal authorization to work in The Netherlands for continued employment.
