Job summary

This role sits within the BondVision Sales team in MTS. The candidate will be responsible for selling BondVision, the MTS dealer-to-client trading platform principally for credits to the buyside community. The candidate will be expected to forge and develop new relevant relationships within the UK and European investment community: Asset managers, Central Banks, Insurers, Pension Funds etc. and be committed to building a strong franchise for the BondVision credit platform as well as identifying opportunities to cross-sell key products across our markets to existing and potential clients. 
 

Key accountabilities

  • Selling the BondVision credit platform to identify and secure new business opportunities and achieve revenue targets

  • Continually develop and drive commercial and product knowledge to pivot client conversations from technology to tangible business value

  • Developing a strong pipeline for the BondVision D2C market. Leveraging any existing relationships in order to bring former client contacts onboard

  • Analysing client needs and presenting the competitive differentiation of our offerings

  • Maintaining existing customer relationships within their specific franchise and identifying key opportunities when appropriate to cross-sell within the range of products/markets offered by MTS

  • Pushing the complete sales cycle, comfortable conducting product demos via Webex/Teams or in person, focus on deal closure and generating revenue from new and existing accounts through consistent and material trading flow via the platform

  • Support marketing activities to help drive credit awareness on BondVision

  • Attending industry events and conferences to promote our brand awareness

  • Work effectively with functional partners including client services, monitoring, onboarding, product and data teams

  • Work closely with product teams to ensure alignment between sales requirements and product functions

Profile

  • Deep understanding of fixed income credit market, including execution models, players, new entrants, significant trends, and outlook.

  • Experience selling to asset managers, hedge funds

  • Proven record of developing client relationships and closing sales

  • Hands-on approach and driven to succeed

  • Dynamic hunter with ability to generate revenue through client activity and cross-selling opportunities

  • Team player, willing to collaborate and work with others to launch new initiatives and/or contribute constructive ideas, feedback on existing products

  • Curiosity: desire to constantly learn and continuously improve

  • Strong communication and presentation skills: able to articulate complex information in a clear and simple manner to a variety of audiences
