Raye IT is looking for an innovative and experienced Business Process Engineer to support a federal client within the Washington, D.C. area. 

Responsibilities

  • Translating requirements into technical solutions;
  • Map data flows as related to  business processes;
  • Map data inputs and data outputs to business process;
  • Document data elements and data models currently in use;
  • Work with customers to understand their business processes and requirements;
  • Identify and recommend authoritative data sources;
  • Resolve issues that arise during development;
  • Create and manage data flow and data context diagrams;
  • Provide recommendations and guidance to align NAVSUP business processes to use recommended authoritative data sources;
  • Assist project manager as required, prepare required documentation, and deliverables;
  • Apply Process improvement and Engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects;
  • Perform activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance management;
  • Provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer;
  • Serves as key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience performing business analysis.
  • Experience owning all aspects of requirements definition.
  • The ability to identify business problems and work with stakeholders to identify technical solutions, build consensus, and support successful implementation.
  • Experience leading analysis of alternatives (AOA).
  • Experience with business process modeling.
  • Understanding of agile best practices.

Preferred: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP); Experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner.

Security Clearance Requirement: Public Trust.

Place of Performance: Silver Spring, MD (hybrid)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Hybrid)
