This role is part of Alcon's Analytics & Intelligence function, a team that advances data science, articficial intelligence, and machine learning to transform the eye care industry.

The Sr. Associate, Data Analysis & Visualization (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for optimizing outcomes through specialized data analysis and visualization tasks. You will apply data science techniques to analyze data, create visualizations, and communicate findings to partners. Specifics include:

• Perform specialized data analysis and visualization tasks, utilizing data science techniques such as statistical analysis and data mining to extract insights
• Conduct independent research to optimize outcomes and contribute to achieving project goals with advanced skills
• Create meaningful visualizations to communicate findings effectively
• Achieve goals through mainly self-directed work with potential guidance from management, making decisions within the scope of assigned tasks

Primary Responsibilities:

• Exciting opportunity to join a growing pharmaceutical division. The Sr. Analyst role will analyze performance and generate key insights for the Pharma portfolio. Key area of focus will be analyzing TRYPTYR to support a successful product launch. This role will work with multiple data sets, dashboards, and vendors. In this highly visible position, you'll gain valuable exposure to the Market Access and Commercial team members through effective communication of business insights.

• This role is part of Alcon's Market Access function; a team focused on securing patient access to our pharmaceutical medicines. The Sr. Analyst will report into the Director of Pricing Strategy and will work closely with the Marketing and Commercial Analytics team.
  
  The Sr. Analyst is primarily responsible for the generation of insights through data analysis to maximize brand performance. In a fast-paced environment, you will analyze data, build financial models, and communicate findings to business partners. Specifics include:
  
  • Analyze launch of TRYPTYR utilizing volume, copay, and financial data sets to extract insights and trends
  • Adhoc analysis and modeling to support Pharma portfolio
  • Create meaningful analysis, reports, and presentations to communicate findings effectively
  • Apply curiosity, attention to detail, analytical skills, demonstrating self-direction and effective communication skills
