Job Description:

The Energy & Sustainability Analyst is responsible for the research, analysis and management of energy management initiatives to promote sustainability and long-term profitability while managing RaceTrac’s impact on the environment. They will engage with and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors to identify and enact effective, valuable and impactful initiatives. They will have an opportunity to engage with peer-led industry groups to benchmark on progress and promote energy management and sustainability efforts in the c-store and retail industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Researches and identifies relevant and emerging technologies and best practices related to energy and sustainability
  • Develops the business case for various energy and sustainability initiatives
  • Tests, implements and scales initiatives using project management methodology
  • Develops reporting to track, measure and monitor energy and sustainability impacts
  • Creates and delivers presentations to internal stakeholders regarding energy and sustainability initiatives
  • Assists in managing energy and sustainability-related vendor and peer group relationships

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Relevant experience in energy management, energy efficiency and engineering
  • Understanding of HVAC, Refrigeration, Building/Energy Management and building specifications
  • Proficiency with data analytics tools and processes (Excel, Access, PowerBI, SQL, etc.)
