Our Data-Driven Security & Analytics team at Wells Fargo leverages massive-scale data, advanced analytics, and real-time processing to protect the organization, our clients, and the financial ecosystem. We build and maintain the data foundation that powers fraud detection, cyber threat hunting, anomaly detection, AML monitoring, security analytics, insider risk programs, and regulatory compliance reporting. This is a high-impact role where your pipelines directly influence our ability to detect and respond to sophisticated threats in one of the world's most heavily regulated industries.
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize robust, secure, and scalable data pipelines that enable data-driven security outcomes. You will work closely with security analysts, threat hunters, data scientists, fraud investigators, and compliance teams to transform raw security logs, transaction data, network telemetry, authentication events, and external threat intelligence into high-quality, analytics-ready datasets used for real-time detection, machine learning models, investigative workflows, and executive reporting.
This role demands strong engineering discipline combined with a deep understanding of security and financial domain challenges, including handling sensitive PII/PFI data under strict regulatory requirements (GLBA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
