Technical Operations Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Operations Coordinator to join our growing Technical Operations team. In this role, you’ll support and maintain our internal tools, data systems, and infrastructure used by some of the most advanced teams in professional sports. You will report directly to the Technical Operations Manager and work alongside the Technical Operation Leads within your team.

As a Technical Operations Coordinator, you’ll work at the heart of our technology stack - supporting critical system tools, ensuring smooth operations for internal teams and clients, and playing a key role in our tool deployment, calibration, and QA processes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into issues, thrives on collaboration, and is excited about working in a fast-paced, innovative sports tech environment. Join our growing Technical Operations team, where your curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills will have a direct impact on real-time data systems used by professional sports organizations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate and Support Tool Rollouts: Set up and deploy acquisition and processing tools across systems; test new features and document performance.

  • Own System Setup & Maintenance: Set up new servers, configure network drives, and install remote tools to ensure smooth end-to-end data flow.

  • Troubleshoot Like a Pro: Address hardware and software escalation—everything from camera alignment to drive mapping to tool maintenance.

  • Document & Communicate: Keep internal documentation fresh and accurate; work cross-functionally to share knowledge and improve training materials.

  • Calibration and Realignment: Assist with camera calibrations, realignments, and system resets to ensure accurate data capture across environments.

  • Be a Reliable Partner: Support our Field Service and Data Processing teams by being a dependable technical resource during calibrations, live events, and post-processing.

  • Work With Cool Tech: From force plates to Edgertronic cameras to our own custom suite of analysis tools—you’ll touch a little bit of everything.

  • Hawkeye integration: Begin our push to integrate the Hawkeye and KinaTrax Tech Ops team by overlapping some hours to our Hawkeye counterparts in assistance with weekly tasks.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • A collaborative and energetic environment that values curiosity, communication, and problem-solving

  • Opportunities to work with cutting-edge sports technology used by top-tier clients

  • The chance to make your mark on internal tools, processes, and product support systems

  • A team that genuinely supports each other and loves what they do

We’d Love to See:

  • At least one season’s worth of experience in our KTX ecosystem or similar experience with system workflow

  • Experience with remote access tools like TeamViewer, LogMeIn, or SplashTop

  • Basic knowledge of system configuration (network drives, Dropbox, XMLs, etc.)

  • Strong skillset to troubleshoot hardware/software environments

  • Experience with tools like Google Docs, Slack, or Monday.com

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • A growth mindset and willingness to learn

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with sports data, motion capture, or system integration

  • Familiarity with scripting or simple automation tools

  • Knowledge of camera calibration or GPU performance monitoring
