My Assistant is Walmart’s generative AI powered assistant for associates, providing a unified, personalized, and trusted way to access Walmart knowledge, data, and actions. The My Assistant team builds experiences that serve Walmart’s 2.1M associates across Walmart US, Sam’s Club, Walmart International and Campus. Ultimately, our aim is to create a virtual assistant for the world’s largest workforce to help 255M people a week save money and live better.

What you'll do...

  • Conversational Experience: Lead Walmart’s GenAI powered conversational experience, My Assistant, to empower 2.1M associates across 10+ countries. Ensure the platform meets the diverse needs of all users.
  • Product Strategy: Develop and drive the product roadmap for 'My Assistant', aligning with company goals and user needs. Identify opportunities for innovation and growth, ensuring the product remains competitive and valuable.
  • Platform Development: Oversee the development and continuous improvement of the platform. Work closely with engineering teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless interactions between various systems and services.
  • API Integration: Collaborate with technical teams to design, implement, and manage API integrations that enhance the functionality of 'My Assistant'. Ensure robust, scalable, and secure integrations that support the overall product strategy.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, development teams, and end-users. Communicate effectively to align expectations and deliver results. Foster strong relationships to facilitate collaboration and support.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the platform and API integrations. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and prioritize features and enhancements.

What you’ll bring… 

  • Experience: 8+ years as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products. Demonstrated success in creating and executing strategic roadmaps and deploying AI/ML solutions.
  • Educational Background: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related area. Strong academic foundation to support technical and strategic decision-making.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with platform development and API integration. Strong background in AI/ML technologies and conversational experiences; GenAI product development experience preferred. Ability to work closely with technical teams to build innovative solutions.
  • Skills: Proficient in data-driven decision-making, process design, and customer-focused solution development. Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and derive actionable insights.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working with software engineers, UX designers, and various stakeholders across multiple domains. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attributes: Highly organized and disciplined, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Thrives in ambiguous environments and is stimulated by challenges. Demonstrates a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Leadership: Experience in mentoring team members and leading cross-functional teams. Ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve common goals. Comfortable engaging with senior leaders and influencing decisions.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
