Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Business Management Analyst This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in McLean, Virginia

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Command and Control & Weapons Integration (CWI) Division Business Management team in McLean, Virginia. The selected candidate will report to the CWI Division Financial Manager.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Support month end close specific to investment spending for the CWI division (both NCTA and Capital)
  • Consolidate Business Unit (BU) forecasts and prep division level investment forecasts monthly (both NCTA and Capital)
  • Support, analyze and track project level spending and provide insights, including but not limited to:
    • Project Set ups
    • Assets Under Construction (AUC tracking)
    • Regular and Ad-hoc analysis on both spending and forecasts and other ad-hoc needs
  • Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and documentation specific to Fixed Asset Controls
  • Coordinate and collaborate across the division (BU/OU/Programs) within Business Management and cross functionally (i.e Strategy, BU Chief of Staff)
  • Proactive process improvement approach to recurring deliverables, with a focus on increased data fidelity and reduced cycle time
  • Actively working with a team to achieve organizational and individual goals

Basic Qualifications: 

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution
  • Having majored in Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel (i.e. pivot tables and lookup formulas) and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment with interpersonal, planning, presentation skills and analysis
  • Ability to work on-site in McLean, Virginia


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
  • Experience with S/4
  • Experience with Cognos Planning (NGFP)
  • Experience with PowerBI

Salary Range: $61,200 - $91,800
