Summary

Under the direction of the Manager of MAC Operations, the Operations Supervisor provides day-to-day operational leadership and support for assigned Moffitt Ambulatory Campuses (MACs), ensuring efficient, safe, and patient-centered facility operations. This role oversees daily non-clinical operations and partners with clinical, administrative, and support service teams to promote effective patient flow, service excellence, and regulatory compliance.

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating site operations including supply chain processes, vendor services, property management needs, emergency preparedness, safety initiatives, and operational readiness. The role supports environmental services, volunteer services, campus events, and facility-related workflows to ensure a seamless experience for patients, visitors, and team members.

This position monitors workflows, resolves operational issues in real time, and serves as the on-site lead during urgent situations or emergency events. The Operations Supervisor supports implementation of organizational initiatives, process improvements, technology changes, and space enhancement projects as directed.

The Operations Supervisor fosters a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement while maintaining high service standards across the campus. Other related duties as assigned.

 

Job Title: Supervisor MAC Operations
Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Services Administration, Public Administration, Operations Management, or related field.

  • Four (4) years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, ambulatory operations, hospital operations, or related environment may be considered in place of the required education.

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Services Administration, Public Administration, Operations Management, or related field.

Minimum Experience Required:

Three (3) years of experience in healthcare operations, ambulatory operations, hospital operations, facilities operations, or related environment required, with at least one (1) year of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred. Experience coordinating daily operations, resolving operational issues, supporting patient-facing services, and working collaboratively across departments required. Experience with vendor management, safety readiness, process improvement, and service recovery preferred.


Required Skills/Training:

  • Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate daily operations, manage competing priorities, resolve issues in real time, and maintain a high level of service excellence.
  • Knowledge of patient flow, ambulatory operations, safety practices, emergency preparedness, regulatory standards, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
  • Experience with electronic medical records, scheduling systems, and other healthcare operations systems preferred.
  • Ability to travel between campuses as needed.

 

Salary Range

$54,745.60 - $83,491.20

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
