The Design Engineering team is responsible for developing innovative and reliable engineering solutions for aerospace components, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, ergonomics, and productivity standards. The department works collaboratively with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to deliver optimized designs that meet customer requirements, support production processes, and drive continuous improvement through problem-solving and engineering excellence. 

  

What You Will Do:  

  • Lead and execute complex structural design projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, certification requirements, and program objectives.

  • Develop high-quality 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using advanced CAD tools.

  • Support the design and development of advanced nacelle structures for future aircraft platforms, including conceptual design, feasibility studies, and technology maturation.

  • Lead and participate in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities to identify, analyze, and resolve internal and external quality issues.  

  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical oversight to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering growth and ensuring high-quality engineering output.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Stress, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations and Program Management teams.

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, reviews, and documentation for internal and external customers.

Qualifications You Must Have:  

  • Typically requires a degree in Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience  

  • Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written)

  • Proven experience creating 3D structural models using CATIA V5

Qualifications We Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering    

  • Experience with GD&T practices, tolerance stack‑ups, root cause analysis, design for manufacturability principles, and relevant aerospace industry standards.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

  • Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and drive engineering solutions with minimal supervision.

  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Valid U.S. Visa.
